Concerts
Symphony Concerts:
- Subscriptions for symphony concert seasons attract a 10 per cent discount and allow concertgoers to keep the same seats as long as they subscribe. They are only available from Artscape Dial-A-Seat a few weeks in advance of the season. Information is always updated in the newsletter.
- Dress rehearsals managed by Friends of Orchestral Music are usually at 11:00 on the morning of Symphony Concerts at the City Hall. Tickets are available at the door using credit card and on the Quicket website shortly before the season. More information info@fomct.com.
- Pre-concert talks, open to concertgoers, by Albert Combrink or John Woodland take place on symphony concert nights at the City Hall at 18:45
- City Hall concerts: Free parking on the Grand Parade is secured by guards with guard dogs
- Artscape concerts: Parking at Artscape in the adjacent Council basement on Jan Smuts Avenue is available from 5 pm and over weekends at a cost of R40
- The Symphony Concert programme will be upload on the day of each concert.
