AUTUMN WILL BRING SHADES OF BEAUTY

Conductor Laureate Bernhard Gueller will be on the podium for the first concert, followed by Nicholas Chalmers on April 9 and 16, and bringing the season to a close with two concerts on April 23 and 30 is Arjan Tien, making his first appearances in his new role as principal guest conductor.

Also on the programmes are the Symphony No, 104, “London”, by Haydn, the Symphony No. 6 in B Minor, Op. 74, “Pathétique”,  by Tchaikovsky,  the Symphony No. 2, Op. 52,  “Lobgesang” by Mendelssohn with the AfriArts Choir and VOX Cape Town, Suites 1 and 2 from Daphnis et Chloé by Ravel and Dvořák’s Symphony No. 6 in d Major, Op. 60.
