Support Us

Cape Town Philharmonic Orchestra (CPO), Africa’s oldest orchestra, relies on the support of individuals, corporates, trusts and foundations to sustain its performances, education programmes, and community outreach. Full stop then delete , as government funding is limited. Founded in 1914, the CPO presents concerts of the highest calibre to diverse audiences, offers performance opportunities to outstanding local and international musicians, and enhances Cape Town’s cultural status.
By supporting the CPO, you can help transform young lives in disadvantaged communities, train future musicians, and expand the orchestra’s impact and reach.
How you can make a difference

By sponsoring a seat of a musician, you can ensure the orchestra and its youth development continue to be sustained; you will become an integral part of the CPO’s music community.

LEGACY CIRCLE
Join those foresighted people who share a passion for music and are serious about making a difference in young people’s lives. Leave a legacy and see the orchestra sustained for future generations.
To find out more about these options and corporate events/concerts, please contact Louise Enslin, Business Development Strategist louise@cpo.org.za / 087 164 2162.
Louise will tailor-make mutually beneficial partnerships that give you recognition (if you want it). Please note that while gifts to the youth programmes can attract a tax receipt, it is critical to support, secure and sustain the core business for, without a professional orchestra, there can be no youth education, there will be no teachers and there can be no dreams of a career in music for young musicians that can be fulfilled.
