The Cape Town Philharmonic Orchestra is a dynamic, multi-functional, full-time professional orchestra, continuing a fine tradition of over a century of orchestral music in Cape Town. In addition to its diverse concert repertoire, the orchestra also performs for operas, ballets and musicals; engages in tours and recordings; and is the driving-force behind a variety of youth development and education projects.
When appropriate, the Cape Town Philharmonic Orchestra will invite applications from suitably qualified musicians or support staff.
Positions are full-time (100%).
Musicians may be required to participate in the Cape Town Philharmonic Orchestra’s various education and youth development initiatives.
