Our People

Proudly South African, the Cape Town Philharmonic Orchestra’s musicians studied both here and overseas and represent the best this country has to offer.

Most of them teach privately, in the universities and at schools and music schools and in the CPO’s own Music Academy, forming the backbone of music education in the city.

Many of their students have gone on to establish their own careers, several in other orchestras of South Africa.
