Joshua Heugh
Joshua Heugh joined the CPO in 2024 as business development assistant. He is a pianist, accompanist and chamber musician who studied at the SA College of Music at UCT with François du Toit. While at UCT he was awarded the A and M Pevsner Charitable Trust Scholarship and his chamber group placed 3rd in the final round of the UCT Schock Chamber Music Competition. He holds a Diploma in Legal Practice through the Gawie le Roux Institute of Law.
While working as a Paralegal and Relationship Manager in the legal field, Joshua established the Classical Music Appreciation Club of Cape Town (CMAC) to create performance opportunities for young individuals. The creation of the club lead to a passion for Arts Administration and he is delighted to have joined the CPO office where he sees a tremendous opportunity to increase orchestra’s support base through a wide variety of events.
He is also passionate about events organisation and coordination, and is also a dog lover.
