Louise Enslin joined the CPO as Business Development Executive on Aug 1, 2023, to see to the long-term sustainability of the CPO, a role she is well placed to tackle thanks to her education, music background and experience.

She completed a BMus at Stellenbosch University before leaving for the UK where she worked at the prestigious Trinity Laban in London.  Here she also developed an interest in arts administration and events management, a path that would lead her in a direction she never anticipated … fundraising. On her return to South Africa, she worked as a fundraiser at Stellenbosch University and at Cape Town Opera. She then joined the Baxter Theatre Centre as the Theatre Administrator.

Her experience in the creative sector led her to the world of vocational arts training, as the Operations Manager at M&M Music & Performing Arts Academy.

Before joining the CPO, she developed a fundraising strategy for SA Children’s Home to enable them to care for vulnerable children in Cape Town for many years to come.
